Especially fond of roast pork
He sat by the fire
To his mother's great ire
And banged on the floor with a fork

This made me smile! Good one!
ReplyDeleteSherry thanks, glad it make you smile
Deleteheck, just abbreviate, that's what they do in twitter land, I believe (I'm not an adherent). So, New York becomes Nu York, or ampersand character (&) for the word 'and'?
ReplyDeleteMad Kane would like this limerick, I bet. ~
Why didn't I think of that, it's so simple thanks
DeleteWhat fun!

DeleteFunny! Just change it to "mama's" and you're IN. ;)
ReplyDeleteBrilliant idea thank you
DeleteI like it, Pea. Drop the fourth line to five syllables like the third and you would be less (say, "To his mother's ire").
ReplyDelete..
Thanks Jim I had an idea from someone else, to replace the word mother with mama, which would do the trick. Thanks for your help
