Understanding
Depressing concrete.
Rowdy teenagers playing.
No respect, then you.
Beautiful Aryan youth
Understand. Lest we forget
Trying out Tanka.
A response to a visit to the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin.

I had to look up "Tanka"
ReplyDelete["the tanka employs a turn, known as a pivotal image, which marks the transition from the examination of an image to the examination of the personal response." ]
WELL DONE!
ZQ

Powerful stuff - you have captured a lot here in a few lines and a moment of insight - as captured by your picture - very good... With Best Wishes Scott www.scotthastie.com
ReplyDeleteThanks very much Scott
DeletePowerful in its brevity. And to think there are those who truly want to believe it never really happened, or want others to do so. The most pertinent and important lesson in the history of the human race. No, it must never be forgotten,
