Life

The sun shone for the first time
In many days today.
Towering sentinels, tree guardians
Reached skywards to touch
Watery yellow skies
Laden with snow.
Breathe out, live again.

    1. Robert, it certainly felt like it, until the clouds unburdened themselves and the snow came.
