The Guardian

Oh tiny angel
With your radiant light,
Shepherd my flock
To their homes tonight.
Follow them, love them,
Keep them in care
As they wander the world
And I can't be there.
Protect them, guide them,
All safe and sound
As they follow their paths
And come, homeward bound.

  3. It's really a lovely piece--the rhyme is natural and unforced, and the pacing is easygoing and rhythmical as well.
